The University of Southern Somalia is a university in Baidoa, Somalia. It was inaugurated on May 5, 2007.
The university was originally conceived in 2002 by a group of Somali scholars and intellectuals in the United States.
The university will offer more than 20 degree programs, including many innovative interdisciplinary programs that allow students to design personalized courses of study with faculty guidance. Below are the initial colleges and institutes planned:
